In the middle of Vesterbrogade, between a bagel shop and a taco-sushi shop, a gallery has appeared. The gallery Wilson Saplana, formerly Gas9Gallery, is starting a new chapter in the middle of Copenhagen's bustling city center. In January 2022, Christina Wilson opened the gallery Gas9Gallery with curator Nanna Saplana as Gallery Director. For the past 2 years, the gallery has housed exhibitions with a wide selection of Danish and international contemporary artists. Now the gallery is moving from Gasværksvej 9 to an even more central address directly opposite Copenhagen Central Station. With the new location, also comes a new name: Wilson Saplana. The name now represents both Christina Wilson and her gallery partner Nanna Saplana.
