GHOSTS BY MIRIAM KONGSTAND AND IDA MARIE HEDE

Artist and choreographer Miriam Kongstad and writer and playwright Ida Marie Hede have come together to engage in dialogue with the Danish artist Ebba Breda's collection of paintings and the family history of the two sisters Ebba and Aase Breda. The exhibition "GHOSTS" gives us a contemporary look at a collection and an entry into the sisters' lives and fortunes.
Gl. Holtgaard has been funded by the Breda Foundation since 1993. In 2024 the funds are running low, and the foundation is on its way to liquidating itself and thus the kunsthalle before the end of the year. Gl. Holtegaard's final exhibition "GHOSTS" marks a poetic ending of the kunsthalle as well as The Breda Foundation.
The exhibition is open from September 19 - October 27, Tuesday-Friday 12-5 pm, Saturday-Sunday 10-5 pm. The kunsthalle is open every Thursday evening 12-8 pm.
